Day 228

"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."
        -Abraham Lincoln

“My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her.”
        ― George Washington

“Being a mother is an attitude, not a biological relation.”
― Robert A. Heinlein, Have Space Suit—Will Travel

The following videos are a series of three vignettes, produced by a lingerie company from Thailand. They are all based on true stories, all tributes to the unsurpassed beauty, courage, and strength of motherhood (not necessarily biological motherhood, rather the nurturing, lifting quality that can touch any life, and quite literally move heaven and earth. God bless mothers).

Day 227

"Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."
        -Raymond Chandler

These stories, most of which first appeared on the Snowed Out Atlanta Facebook page, shouldn't surprise anyone, but they reinforce the reality that there are people in this world who will literally do anything for a stranger just because it feels right.
