A number of motorists who had to abandon their
vehicles in the snow on Highway 280 outside of Birmingham, Ala. were
able to find shelter in the storm thanks to the kindness and generosity
of Chick-fil-A restaurant employees and the restaurant's owner, Mark
Meadows.

Zac Gossage, 6, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last June after weeks of feeling tired and ill, KSDK reported. Despite the demanding and tiring treatments, Zac didn’t miss much school, where his friend Vincent Butterfield was.
